The College Editors Guild of the Philippines-National Capital Region, alongside student publications across Metro Manila, will stage a protest action tomorrow at the Pamantasan Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) to condemn the threat of closure of The Warden, the official student publication of PLMun.

Today, CEGP-NCR received a report from the members of The Warden that the PLMun administration will be releasing a memorandum ordering the closure of the student publication for being “subversive” pertaining to their recently released issue that tackles the recent State of the Nation Address of President Noynoy Aquino. Prior to this, the editors of the said publication already faced threats of being removed from the editorial board.
