The College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP), the widest and longest-running alliance of student publications in the country, will hold a press conference on November 26, 9:00 a.m. at Vinzons Hall, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Quezon City. Amidst ongoing budget deliberations and people’s struggle against “people’s budget cut”, speakers will talk about the victory of the week-long strikes. The College Editors Guild of the Philippines, the longest-running and widest alliance of student publications in the country, will hold a journalism skills training on November 26, 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at Vinzons Hall, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Quezon City. Speakers, including Paul Divina, CEGP national secretariat, and former Graphics Editor of The Catalyst, the official student publication of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila, and Mr. Raffy Lerma, photographer of Philippine Daily Inquirer, will discuss Lay-outing and Photojournalism respectively.
