Tulong Kabataan Urgent Appeal For Donations

relief ops MaringHabagat

Dear brothers and sisters:

Warm greetings of solidarity!

Our kababayans (fellow countrymen) urgently need our help and support. Tropical Storm Maring (international codename: Trami), coupled with the devastating torrential rains brought about by the Habagat, has wreaked havoc in most parts of Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, and other adjacent provinces. At the moment, we are witnessing yet another grave tragedy, with many cities and towns — even major thoroughfares — still submerged in record-level floods.

Tulong Kabataan Volunteer Network, an SEC-registered non-profit organization formed by national youth organizations, student councils, and campus publications, is now knocking upon your doors for help and support.

The major objective of the relief drive led by Tulong Kabataan is to consolidate efforts among the youth in gathering immediate relief for the affected communities. We also aim to reach out to other communities affected by the floods that are not currently covered by ongoing relief and rescue operations.

TULONG KABATAAN WILL:

Gather as many donations as possible, whether in cash or in kind, from fellow youth and students, institutions, schools and churches
Pack goods and materials for distribution
Deliver of goods in affected areas, integrate and express solidarity with the victims
