Greetings from CEGP-NCR!

The College Editors Guild of the Philippines is the oldest, widest and only existing alliance of tertiary student publications in the country and in Asia-Pacific. It has over 750 student publications as members from more than 500 schools in 68 out of 78 provinces and cities nationwide.

Hence, the largest regional formation, the National Capital Region calls to convene all its member publications to unite in times chaos and devastation.

In its 82nd year of existence, CEGP-NCR, the Guild’s regional formation in the metro, holds the responsibility of ensuring the dynamic and pivotal role of the campus press across the metro on guiding its member publications to grasp its patriotic and democratic orientation.

The past few months, our nation was shaken by the pork barrel scam and corruption issues from different implementing agencies. The campus press has the critical role in our society as watchdog and to raise the political and social consciousness of the student body as a whole.

With this, we would like to request delegation from your publication to the CEGP – NCR 1st GENERAL ASSEMBLY for the 2nd semester, AY 2013-2014 on November 16, 2013. 1:00-5:00pm at the National Press Club, Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila. Attached herewith is the program.

For inquiries, you may contact CEGP Hotline (0926.722.2723).

We hope to see your publication in this activity. Thank you!

For a free press,

(Sgd.)
CHARINA CLAUSTRO
Chairperson
